At the meeting room of Wat Klang Municipality School, Mr. Thirasak Thikhayuphan, Mayor of Khon Kaen City Municipality, presided over the opening of the training project and visited to encourage the teachers who participated in the training, "Project to develop a care system for children with learning problems by teachers-doctors-parents of schools under Khon Kaen City Municipality for the academic year 2024, Group 1, with teachers including 1. Suan Sook Municipality School 2. Khum Nong Khu Municipality School 3. Ban Nong Waeng Municipality School and 4. Khon Kaen City Municipality Demonstration Kindergarten School (Non Nong Wat), totaling 225 people, participating in the training. The lecturer was from the Northeastern Institute of Child and Adolescent Mental Health.
The project to develop a care system for children with learning problems by teachers, doctors, and parents is a collaboration between the Northeast Child and Adolescent Mental Health Institute, Khon Kaen Hospital, and the Khon Kaen City Municipality Education Office. They have collaborated to develop an Application Care to screen students belonging to Khon Kaen City Municipality to provide assistance to children in the project to develop a care system for children with learning problems by teachers, doctors, and parents in schools under the Khon Kaen City Municipality. The application screens, provides consultation, and refers teachers and parents to access mental health services without having to bring children to the hospital. This is a service connection from preventing children’s behavioral problems to providing consultation and treatment for children with behavioral problems. The aim is to increase access to services for children at risk and serve as a model for further expansion in other areas.
